Apple Watch not showing under playback devices

Operating System Watch OS 7.5

(iOS 10, Android Oreo, Windows 10,etc.)

My Question or Issue

I can’t see my Apple Watch as a playback option in Spotify. I can’t see my watch at all and therefore can’t take advantage of the new feature of downloading offline to my watch. I have tried deleting the Spotify app, unpairing my watch and restoring from a backup to no avail. How can I get Spotify to recognize my watch?
