BUG? IOS crossfading non-cached tracks

I'm trying to listen to the Armada Stream 40 playlist (Armada Music Stream 40 - Week 26 (June 29th 2012)) on my iPhone 4 using 5-second crossfade. When it encounters a non-cached track right after a jingle it force-quits the app without any warnings. When I then restart the app, it complains that I need to be online to play this track. And then it starts. (I'm streaming via 3g.)

Have I encountered some kind of buffering-bug?

EDIT:

It force-quits (crashes) in the middle of the jingle, just as it's supposed to start crossfading to the next track.

I'm able to re-produce this, thanks for reporting 🙂

It seems it happens when there's two very short tracks in a row and you've got crossfade on, so if it's two 8 second tracks in a row the client will crash on the 2nd time it will crossfade.
