Bad quality

Solved!

Bad quality

Hi,

Im using spotity premium on my Iphone 4S, but since yesterday, my music suddenly sounds like if I blew up my headphones. Also the music from the phone speaker sounds terrible, especially the bass. My music player does not have this problem, so it is something with Spotify. On my macbook, everything is fine. Anybody an idea what could be wrong?

Cheers

Have you tried performing a clean reinstallation of the client?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

Sorry, I pasted the wrong reply here! Was checking my spelling 😛

Do you have high quality streaming set in your settings?

But all the songs from my playlist have this problem, while they didn't had this problem before yesterday.

Changing the quality didn't solve the problem...

There is definitely something up and no-one has any answer on this one.  I posted about the exact same topic a few days ago and it haas not been resolved.  When i play music from my iphone (was iphone 4, now iphone 5) either bluetooth or hard patched with a cable, the music sounds distorted.  I have the premium service.

hate to bring back an old post... but i'm still having an issue.  i was scared my headphones were blown out for a second.  then i went back to pandora and my local music collection - sounds fine there.

Im having the same issue, and its been a full month with no attempt to even fix the problem. I love spotify but this makes me want to cancel my subscription and tell everyone i know to cancel.

Sincerely,

Exactly the same.

I nearly took my iPhone 5 back becasue I thought it had blown.

Then I thought my headphones had blown.

It never used to do it?

i found that uninstalling it completely and reinstalling it fixed the problem.  the only annoying thing?  having to resync 20+ playlists... =(
