Hey there @ninashasha

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community.

Would you mind letting us know if you're still experiencing this issue after performing a clean reinstall? This is often an overlooked step, but it can be helpful for clearing any cache that might be causing issues. It will also get you the latest app version.

If this doesn't do the trick, could you confirm if it only happens when you're set to Offline Mode?

Keep us posted. We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

Yes it is still happening.

It only happens when i’m offline.
Also my app is up to date. I think it needs another update to solve my problem

Hi again @ninashasha

Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

Could you let us know if this happens when you're browsing the app or when it's running in the background? Have you noticed the app crashing?

We'd also recommend making sure that your device is up to date and that it has enough storage space available, as this could cause issues with the app.

Let us know how it goes.

i think it’s when i’ve locker my phone but music is still playing. It just randomly heats up and i have to switch off the app and wait a few minutes.

Also no crashing either.

Spotify is the only app on my phone that does this

Hey @ninashasha,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Have you checked if your phone's battery saving options are disabled?

Also, let us know if this is still happening when you use a different network.

We'll be right here.

Hey @ninashasha

Thanks for this info. We'll do our best to help you sort this out.

Could you let us know if this is happening when you're playing music directly through your phone's speakers, via Bluetooth or headphones?

We'd recommend a soft reset on your device too. You'll find some detailed steps for this here

Keep us posted!

Thanks for helping. I’ve already restarted my phone a few times.

I always use headphones that are plugged into my phone.

Hi @ninashasha

Thanks for your reply.

Would you mind letting us know if it still happens when you're not using your headphones?

Also, could you send over the Spotify version you're currently running so we can take a better look?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.
