Can't disable search on app

Hello everyone!

So, I have an Iphone 5. If I got to the top of my spotify playlist and use the fiter bar to searech for a certain artist, then click on a song from the filter, then clear the filter, the filter does not clear. Like, if i put an "a" into the filter and click on the song from there and then click the little "x" on the bar, it will still only play songs that have an "a" in them, as though the filter hasn't been cleared at all. How do I fix this?
