Can't duplicate song on a playlist

My Question or Issue

I'm wondering if this issue re: can no longer duplicate songs on playlists is ever going to be resolved. As a dedicated user of six years now, it's really frustrating having a perfectly good feature be treated as a "problem" that needs fixing when, in reality, the fix has created the problem. When will the old "Add Anyway" feature be reinstated?
