Can’t enter text into search field

When I select “search” & go to the search field to enter text, only shows “scan text” and doesn’t pull up keyboard to allow me to enter desired artist I'm searching for.

This issue could be caused by some corrupted app data. The best thing to do is reinstall the Spotify app on your device, following this detailed guide. This will assure that all app data is cleared, before you install the latest app version.
