Can't get local files on Spotify on iPad (I read other posts here and tried everything)

My Question or Issue

In my Spotify app on this iPad, I don't have the 'enable Local audio files' option - despite uninstalling/reinstalling the app, restarting the iPad, and using the Files app.

For my old iPad (the same model as this one), I was able to put my edited audio files into Spotify by downloading them from Dropbox, selecting the song, and then using Save to Files and selecting the Spotify folder. But for this iPad, it won't offer me a Spotify folder in my Locations.

The 'Local audio files' option should be located in the app's Settings > Apps and devices, could you check there?

⚠️ Note: You'll be prompted to allow the app access to 'Media & Apple music', which it's necessary for the files to show up. In case you don't get a prompt, you can manually check if this has been allowed by heading to your iPad's Settings > Privacy & Security.

If the 'Spotify' folder is still not showing up in the Files app > On My iPad, try rebooting your iPad - that should force a resync. If there are any pending OS updates for your device, I'd recommend installing them to see if that helps.
