Can't log into Spotify on my iPhone but can on my iPad.

Dear Spotifiers,

 

A frind of mine is having a really odd issue log into his Spotify account on his iPhone 5s, the odd thing is that he do get connected on his iPad Air 2  with the same account.

 

When he try to log on his iPhone he get error message that his "email address is already in use". I'm using the same setup and I don't get that issue, my iPad and iPhone are connect to the same Spotify account.

 

We already tried:

 

- Password reset

- Log Out the iPad

- Reinstall Spotify app [v3.7.0.1100]

- Updated iOS [8.4.1]

 

Any other suggestions are welcome, thanks in advanced

Well I'm going to go cry of embarassment because I was entering my email when it wanted me to enter my username. Dang. I feel like an idiot. Sorry!

I emailed them about it and they basically said find the solution yourself. Not the response I was looking for as someone who was going to upgrade to Pro again after trying Apple Music.

I'm having the same problem as your friend, I can't login to my iPhone5s because the "usernam of password is incorrect" so I came and tried to login to my mac using the exact same username and password and it worked. I'm trying to look for a solution and I'll let you know about anything.

That's one I need to try, we always tried entering his email address.
