Can’t open app when hooked to Bluetooth in my truck

Got a new stereo and installed , when hooked to Bluetooth or usb in my truck I can’t get into my library, iPhone 8 Plus

Some aftermarket head units aren’t compatible with Spotify because of iOS, however if you have at least one song purchased from iTunes you’ll be able to use Spotify with your truck.  I’m not sure why it works if you do that, but it does. Please check back in and tell me about your progress!(:

Thx for hitting me back , it’s a Spotify I heart pandora stereo , the stereo plays fine but I can’t open my library to switch artists or songs while I’m hooked to it it’s just got a blank screen with the Spotify logo in the middle , maybe it’s a safety feature? While driving? Thx

It’s very possible that it’s a safety feature, does it function normally when the parking and or e-brake is engaged?
