Playlists aren't shuffling

Hi. So with this new update, I can't seem to get my playlists to shuffle the music on my phone. When I press shuffle, it starts with the first song I added to the playlist and then goes to the second then third and so on. So it basically plays in order by the date the songs were added instead of mixing them all up. I've tried deleting the app and nothing is working.

Could you do a quick clean reinstallation of the app? Just follow the steps here.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

yea its still only shuffling the first 5 or 6 songs on each playlist. i am using the version 8.4.48 on my iphone 7

Does this only happen with this playlist or other playlists as well? Could you try making a duplicate of this playlist? I'd love to get to the bottom of this.
