Can't reorder songs in a playlist on iPone

Upgraded to spotify 0.5.9.10, and I am paying for premium.

I can no longer change the order of songs in a playlist?? Why not? I used to be able to do this by touching the edit function then touching and holding to the right of the track and dragging up or down.

Is there another way to do it in the new version? Why on earth would you change this??

Also is there any way to change the order of playlists on the main home playlist screen? Mine seam to only be able to be ordered based on when they are created, this is somewhat limiting.

I only use mobile, on an iPhone 4s. No desktop.

Any help appreciated.

Do you not have filter and sort options if you keep scrolling up in playlist view? Or are you trying to manually reorder the tracks?

Manually re-order songs.

Pretty basic, and was actual functionality when the app was first released.

Can you not do that by pressing the button in the top right corner, then selecting "Edit" and dragging and dropping the tracks around?

I've got a button in that top right corner and it is for 'sharing', below that, and next to the filter text bar is a button and that has the following options: 'By title, recently added, by artist, by album, unsorted"

No edit button anywhere.

I'll reitterate that I am on Android now, when I posted this thread 16 months ago, I had an iPhone.

Mate, like I said, I started this thread 16 months ago.  When I had an iPhone.

This thread got dragged up by someone else.

I'm still a disgruntled customer of Spotify and think they are a pretty **bleep**ty company if they regress functionality and can't reinstate it after 16months.  

Fark spotify all I want to do is re-order my tracks in my playlist, I could do this in the 90's with winamp.

The whole point of a playlist is that it's a personalized flow of music. Fundamental to this is the ability to order the tracks how you want, say starting with slower ones and building up the tempo.In order to do this it's necessary to change the order until you get the desired effect. Why can I do this on my laptop (which I hardly ever use) and not on Android? Needs sorting asap. Anyone interested in music can see this is a BASIC requirement.

I asked this question in my original post years ago now, these guys still haven't fixed it.

They actually had it and then regressed in functionality with a newer version and it was lost.  

Someone even marked this thread as closed, when it clearly is not.

It's very shoddy service. Why is it so hard to make this available on Android? Maybe we could ask someone at Spotify to explain it? Oh wait, sorry, that would be assuming we could actually TALK to someone at Spotify or even email them or have any contact with them whatsoever apart from my monthly direct debit into their account.
