Cancel Ipod Sync

Hello,

I plugged in my Ipod to see if I could sync one playlist. This is not possible, as I have now learned. But now, my Ipod is stuck thinking he is going to be synced with Spotify and I cannot find a way to cancel the sync. Hard reset of my Ipod Classic isn't working either.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
