Desktop app not working on IOS 12.6.3

(iOS 12.6.3)

 

After updating Spotify last week on my CPU, it only shows a black window when application is open. Please advise!

Hi there @theNMPlaylist 

 

Thanks for reaching out. You need iOS 14 or higher for Spotify to function properly, see here. The screenshot you've sent however is from MacOS, not iOS. Which MacOS Version and Spotify Version do you use? In any case, consider performing a clean reinstall, that can help alleviate a multitude of issues.

In this case, we'd like to gather some additional info. Would you mind sending us the exact Spotify version you are running at this moment in your computer?

 

On another note, and just to confirm, did you try by reinstalling the app in the affected device to see if you notice any difference? If you haven't yet, you can follow the steps in this article. By doing that the app can be up-to-date and you can make sure the cache is not leading to this inconvenience. You can see the steps for a clean reinstall here.

 

Lastly, did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event, such as a OS update? If yes, please send us the details.
