Hey team, 2 questions..
1) if I sync my local files on my computer to my phone through spotify (which are both connected to the same wifi), will it use my wifi data allowance or just sync them through the local network?
2) Is it the same with spotify files that have already been made available offline on my computer, or does it redownload them onto the phone from the spotify servers?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
To the best of my knowledge (and experience):
1. They are synced locally.
2. They need to be synced from the Spotify servers (using data) since each client storage is unique.

Hey Peter, thanks for the fast reply! how do you know the local files are synced locally? just wanna be sure before I go & sync them
I would assume this since they need to be connected to the same WiFi network to sync. If it was being done online, they could be anywhere and still sync.
