A Download Error message keeps appearing on my phone with no way to dismiss it. The text of the message is "Downloading has stopped because there's no space left on this device". I hit OK and the message immediately pops up again. I can not stop the downloading of the playlist or do anything else on the Spotify app because this message will not stop popping up. How do I fix this?

Hey @Whiskerdots,

Sorry to see this has happened. Spotify requires a minimum amount of storage space to download anything for offline listening and it looks like you've reached this point (or at least the app has determined that you have).

A workaround I can think of is switching off your internet data. This should force the app to go into offline mode, which will hopefully make the error stop appearing. Once this is done, you can do the following:

  1. Tap your profile picture at the top.
  2. Tap Settings and privacy.
  3. Tap Data-saving and offline.
  4. Under Storage, select Remove all downloads.

If this doesn't work, you can instead go for a complete clean reinstall of the app, which will automatically remove all your downloads. You will be able to choose which content to download again after the reinstallation process completes.

Hope this helps! Keep us posted on how things go 🙂
