Downloaded albums disappeared

I had quite a few albums saved to my phone, and all of a sudden they aren't there any more. The playlists I have set up are still there, just not the albums. It's really annoying as I had gotten on a train and wanted to listen to one of them without using all my data! What gives? It's NEVER done this before.
