Downloading WAY more music than it should?

Downloading WAY more music than it should?

Been a premium member for a few years- and lately noticing my phone is totally out of space and Spotify is always complaining. I went to audit all my downloaded files- and unchecked every playlist, artist, album, etc.

Force closed the app, restart the phone. Go back to spotify and it starts up "Downloading 1 of 402" but I have NO IDEA what it is downloading. They don't show up in my songs or anywhere. How do I stop this? Spotify is taking 1GB of space and I have no idea what the songs are. I went to songs and checked "Downloaded" and it comes up blank.

Could I have downloaded a random playlist and not followed it and I'm just stuck if I can't remember it? This all seems weird.

Hey @gdreisen,

Can you remove your device from your offline devices list here to see if that fixes it: https://www.spotify.com/account/offline-devices/?

Thanks! Was able to combine this with deleting and reinstalling the app and got 7GB back (ya, seven). It's pretty outrageous that the cache continues to eat up phone space without ever cleaning itself. Like....infuriatingly irresponsible considering so many devices are only 16GB.
