Downloading on my Ipod

I've got a bunch of music saved & I want to download it to my Ipod. As I understand it Spotify will wipe ALL existing music from my Ipod? Does Spotify do this whenever I want to download music or only the first time? Isn't there a way to download music without emptying the existing music on my Ipod? That seems to be kind of a pain if that happens every time I want to download music.

You only need to do this the first time you sync your iPod with Spotify, once it is done, you can add and remove tracks inside Spotify as you please. I would strongly recommend you have a read at this post before you continue.
