Half of my songs won't play

About half of my songs won't play when they are shuffled and it forces me to waste a skip, any way to fix this?

Could you provide us with a bit more information? Does this apply to all playlists, or only certain ones, and if so, which ones? Also, how many songs do these playlists contain? 

I know this sounds obvious, but would you mind restarting your device and performing a clean reinstall by following the steps outlined here? This can solve many common problems that our users experience.
