How can I remove the “playing recommended songs for you” feature

I find this infuriating you should be able to disable this on the entire app, not on each individual playlist. I don’t ever want recommended songs.

Does NOT work. WHY are there so many hidden settings forcing me to listen**bleep** I don't like? INFURIATING when on a run. Android Galaxy, paid premium. Fancy secret shuffle deception is off. Auto play is off.  20+ songs on the Playlist, have to skip through 6 to get to one I know.  My songs are selected for PACE. This is negatively affecting my physical health, I'm sure in this new world I could find some valid reason to litigate. Class action or something? Make this stop.

When I play one of my Playlists in a random way (shuffle), the Recommended Songs at the bottom of the list are included. How can this be avoided? My playlist is a specially curated list for a defined public and I do not wish any interference from Spotify's recommendations.

This happens on both my iPhone and MacBook

**bleep** THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!+ This was really starting to **bleep** me off!!! I've been using Spotify for years and have tons of playlists I've created but I was just about ready to give up on them!! This is an awful feature and Spotify really should make it easier to figure out how to disable it.

Thank you for the solution. I spent a lot of time and it really frayed my nerves dealing with their updates.

And all this after they raised the prices for their subscription.

What a stupid Spotify interface! I hate it!

Simple features are missing (no album name on the full song page, no year of the album), but we have "smart" (read: stupid) unnecessary features and have to search the web for solutions on how to switch them off.

Just to add, the icon on top of the shuffle arrows is a star on my Samsung, if that helps anyone else. And yes, as you tap through the options a popular appears stating that Smart Shuffle recommendations has been added or removed from queue.

I use primarily the web client but also mobile and occasionally other clients. The setting to disable autoplay and suggestions does not stick across devices and frequently resets to 'on', which I never want under any circumstances whatsoever, when I switch devices or reboot a device.
How do I turn this off globally for my entire account, or at least disable it in some way which makes it **stick**? If I cannot do this, I want my Premium subscription refunded.

My daughter gets suggestions (Empfehlungen) after the album is finished. The setting „automatisch ähnliche wiedergabe abspielen“ is switched off. With the rest of the family it works well and the player stops when the album is finished. But her player plays songs all night long which is quite annoying. How can I change that?

This is still not a solution. I'm using the desktop app on my Mac and also tried the web player. The "2nd ON" still doesn't remove the "smart" recommendations from the queue, and my playlist seems doomed forever. I don't understand how Spotify managed to screw up this basic feature. This is such a sh*tshow and someone needs to get fired for this.

Spotify has randomly started playing songs that aren’t on my playlist. I know that this happens when your playlist isn’t long enough, but my playlist is over 20 hours long.

Hey, sorry, I already toggled the Autoplay feature off, but everytime I play my playlist only reccomended songs play, I still haven't heard any song I added to my playlist, I just click on play and reccomended songs play...
