How to play songs without adding to playlist

I have just added spotify premium although can't listen to any song I want instantly I can only add to a playlist please advise, thanks

Hi there, first I would suggest checking that premium has been activated for you.  You can check in your profile overview, or if you have the Spotify Desktop app for windows, it should read Spotify Premium, top and center.  If one or the other does say Premium, then make sure you logged into the iphone Spotify app using the same credentials you used in your profile or in the desktop app.  Sometimes things get messed up when you use Facebook to log into one app and non-facebook credentials for the other, and sometimes people have two active accounts without even realizing it.  Lastly, if things still aren't working, try deleting the Spotify app from the iphone and installing it again.  Hope something above helps!
