How to see and modify the queue on iPhone?

Hi All,

I was talking to a friend yesterday about not being able to see or modify the music queue on my iPhone 5.  We are both running the latest version 0.7.4.35.  He looked at me like I was crazy.  While he is playing a song with the artwork showing large, he swipes his finger from the bottom to top and the queue shows up ready to modify.  My phone and several other people I have asked do not do this.  Is this a new feature like discover that they are randomly provided to users?  Please help.

I believe this is in the new now playing screen, that is being slowly rolled out to users.
