I don’t have the canvas option, how do I get it?

No matter what I do, I can’t get canvas to work on my phone. I have an iPhone 12 mini but I’m not sure if it’s just messed up, or if I can’t use it on my phone. And the option to turn it on and off doesn’t show up. I deleted and reinstalled it, i signed out and signed back it, nothing works.

That thread is over two years old and offers no solution. Does Spotify have a more timely update as to why this is an issue? I have the same thing on my device. I used to have canvas and then the option completely disappeared for me, but it’s working fine for everyone else. I have no option in my setting to toggle it back on, my app is up to date, I deleted and reinstalled the app - nothing works.
