I am a confirmed premium user but I'm still getting ads.

While Spotify doesn’t play ads that interrupt the music listening experience of Premium subscribers, some podcasts may include advertising, host-read endorsements, or sponsorship messages.

Can you confirm for us if you're getting ads in podcasts or in music?

If you hear ad breaks in your playlists, this would not be expected and we'll try our best to solve it. We'd recommend starting by  logging out > restarting your device > logging back in to sync up your subscription status with your device.

You might also be logging in to a free account instead. This article will help you locate your Premium account.

so how do I turn off the podcast ads? this might finally get me to stop using Spotify. I HATE BEING ADVERTISED AT especially in my downtime when i am trying to relax.

So I figured out that this random podcast was added to my playlists. I just removed the podcast from the playlist.

I had the same problem when I signed up for Premium but I fixed it.  I had been using the free version on several devices before going to Premium. I could not understand why I was continuing to get ads after upgrading.  It was like I was still using the free version. I then logged out of Spotify on all devices and then logged back in on one device. When  I did that, there were no more ads.

I also get ads in all podcasts, not just endorsements. The ads tell me to order premium if I don't want ads. I got a premium subscription.

My Question or Issue

Why am I hearing ADS while listening to podcasts ?? This ADS are not integrated, I listen to US podcasts and I hear dutch ADS! This is really really annoying! I am a Premium member just to AVOID annoying ADS, this is literally the ONLY reason users have Premium! Please spotify fix this!

Can you please assist? Recently we've had adverts pop up in between podcasts and every now and then, songs. The ads are not a part of the podcast as they are in Korean. I bought a duo membership for my husband and I but can't understand why we are getting ads. I have followed the logout and reset procedure but to to no avail- there are the add again:(

I too am hearing adverts, although only between Goalhanger podcasts. There are often adverts at the beginning and midway through the podcast, but a separate 30 second advert between each episode? Is this a Goalhanger thing?
