While Spotify doesn’t play ads that interrupt the music listening experience of Premium subscribers, some podcasts may include advertising, host-read endorsements, or sponsorship messages.

Can you confirm for us if you're getting ads in podcasts or in music?

If you hear ad breaks in your playlists, this would not be expected and we'll try our best to solve it. We'd recommend starting by  logging out > restarting your device > logging back in to sync up your subscription status with your device.

You might also be logging in to a free account instead. This article will help you locate your Premium account.

Nothing to do with podcasts. Straight up music. What gives. Where do I submit complaints?

This is BS i am getting ads inserted into podcasts that are obviously not from the host as they mention all paid promotions and do the ad plugs themselves. The ads that have been inserted are for local businesses in a completely different country to the podcast presenter and are not in their usual format but a more mainstream advert. Please explain? this goes against the initial consumer agreements.

Dear Spotify team,

I am also a premium user who is getting more and more bombarded by adds in podcasts. It started slow, with the podcasts promoting other podcasts from the same group, etc, but now there are several product adds, not to mention the podcasters themselves trying to sell a range of products from their sponsors.

While I understand that dealing with the latter might be difficult, dealing with the former is not, and in case it is not dealt with, I am afraid that you will lose yet another customer (and I have been using spotify premium for almost a decade now).

I’m getting different ads on podcast as if I’m not paying, I know podcast sponsor other podcasts but now it’s showing random ads and messages saying that I haven’t renewed my plan

spotify premium user, very annoyed by listening "paid promotional content" while I was listening to one of my playlist (which for worst was the calm music playlist). I am very dissappointed and I will move to Apple Music as this is not the first time that this happened. Last time I deactivated the tailored ads option, but still I am forced by your company to listen to a podcast that I don't want to. Really bad practices.

I pay for premium but there are still ads embedded in the podcasts I listen to. Please require podcast creators to have ads play just like the music, where the app interrupts what you're listening to, BUT if you have premium, that doesn't happen. It seems pointless to pay for premium if I'm still hearing ads.

I've had premium for years and have never had ads. For the first time while listening to a podcast today, there were three unskippable ads in a row from Spotify. What am I paying for if they are adding ads?

Why do I have to listen to commercials although I have purchased a premium plan! Thiua is insane!!! How can I contact somone who can stop this? Either return my money or stop interupting what I listen to! No, my purchase is not brand new. No, I didn't forget to log into my account... please forward this request to somone to seriously take care of this. Thanks
