IOS app keeps forgetting my Followed Artists

My Spotify app keeps forgetting the artists that I've followed. I've done the reinstall thing, both the quick version and the full version, and about half the time, on reinstall, the Followed Artists list comes back, and the other half of the time, it doesn't. But even when it does come back, within a couple of days, it'll vanish again. Sometimes the Album list goes blank, too, but the Playlist list never does. Also, oddly enough, if I search for an artist that I've followed, the artist listing says that I'm following them, despite the part where the Artists Followed list is blank.

This is tremendously annoying.

My Artists section never shows up blank but I have a similar issue where it only shows some of the artists I follow.

Do you follow over 1,000 artists?

Apparently if you follow over 1,000 artists it will only show 1,000 artists and not any more so some of the artists you are trying to find won't be listed. And it forgets the artists I am following in the mobile app.

I hear improvements are coming to improve the Artists section, so hopefully they can fix this.
