IOS app no longer works on fire tv

The latest update to ios seems to have broken the integration with the fire tv. As soon as you connect to the TV the ios artwork disappears, the next button pauses your music and everything else just restarts the first song.

So infuriating. Could really do with this working. Anyone else have the issue? Any idea when we can expect a fix?

Should also mention I've tested on iPhone 5s and ipad mini retina. Both experience same problems.
