IPOD NANO issues , spotify do not rec it

I know this question been asked already, but the lates answer I found was 2016, so perhaps was some changes. When I connect iPod via  USB to my Lenovo notebook, Spotify does not recognize it. Any ideas of what to do?

The ipod Nano is no longer a supported device for Spotify. You can check out which devices are currently able to play Spotify at the system requirements support article.

Unfortunately, no. The Nano hasn't been supported for awhile. There are still some ipod Touch models that will run Spotify though. 

iPod

6th generation iPod Touch or above

iOS 10 or above. 250 MB free space

You can also check out another alternative here. It's called the Mighty and could be one possible solution.
