Interesting issue...

 

Streaming Spotify music through the VW Golf factory-fitted bluetooth integration using iPhone with iOS 6.

Make or receive a call on the in-car bluetooth - pauses audio as normal.

Hang up the call on the in-car bluetooth.

Instead of Spotify picking up where it left off, the iPod application plays. 

 

I have tested that other audio apps including the Podcast app don't have this problem.  Also this has only occured since updating Spotify.
