Infiniti Q50 "This iPod does not contain music files"

Hey all, I hope you are able to end my months of frustration. Before you ask, I have searched this issue to death and have tried the various "fixes" found on other sites, to no avail.

Here is what is going on: I can play Spotify on my iPhone X through USB and Bluetooth, but both connections make the car display "This iPod does not contain music files". I have plugged in three other iPhones of friends, 2ea. 6S Plus, 1ea. 8 Plus, and they all work flawlessly, both USB and Bluetooth. Go back and plug mine in? Get the original error message.

Fixes I have tried:

Re-installing "Music" app (found to fix the issue on another website)

Rebooting my phone many times

Deleting phone from car/reloading phone many times

The only thing I have not tried is restoring the phone to factory settings, but that seems unnecessary (since other phones work) and a bit of a last resort. Is there anything else I am over-looking? I'm tired of fighting it.
