I have an older Ipod touch which I previously loaded up Spotify onto.

When I had to reboot the whole device I couldn't get Spotify back on because it now requires ios7 which this Touch seemingly can't be upgraded to??

I am kicking myself now (and so is my wife) as I may be locked out of using this device which was perfect for gym sessions etc.

Is there any way out of this issue other than getting a new device?

Sorry, but Spotify only supports iOS 7 and 8 right now:

Ipod Touch can't upgrade to ios7
