Liked songs playlist doesn’t allow my premium profile to select at random

After the latest update for Spotify, the liked songs playlist changed. The only issue I’ve had with this is the inability to select a song at random within the playlist. I can skip as many songs as I would like via the, “next” option whether it’s on shuffle or not. The action I was previously able to do was select any song within the playlist when need be. This is no longer available. I tried deleting and redownloading the application, I then signed myself out of my device and signed back in. The problem stopped for maybe one day and resumed again. It may or may not occasionally let me select a song- once or twice but it’s at random. Majority of the time the function simply does not work.
