Hey @patrickgamer,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.
Unfortunately, Spotify doesn't have an option to export your playlist on MP3 or another audio format. Even if the Premium subscription offers a downloading option, it will download the content in the app’s cache, but not as an audio file that you can use with those headphones.
Hope this clarifies things a bit. If anything else comes up, don't hesitate to ask.
Exportar canciones para almacenar en un dispositivo Mp3 acuático.
Quisiera poder poner listas o canciones en un dispositivo que no tendrá conexión inalámbrica porque estará bajo agua.
¿Es posible?
How do I transfer a playlist to my Shokz openswim MP3 headphones?
i want to put my spotify playlist on my shokz underwater headphones, is this possible? I have all the songs downloaded but when i try to move them onto the headphones, it just gives me a web address for spotify
I swim laps and I saw that another swimmer was wearing waterproof induction headphones (the Shokz OpenSwim Pro model). I listen to a lot of podcasts and would love to be able to listen to them whilst swimming.
I understand that bluetooth does not work underwater so I cannot connect to my phone and stream it that way, but I've seen that the induction headphones have storage so audio can be loaded onto them. To my understanding, this would require me to load an MP3 file and it would play from that. Is there a way to have it connected with Spotify so I can listen to podcasts?
I have a premium account and often download content for offline listening so I was hoping that I could somehow download the audio and load it to the headphones. Ideally this would mark it as played when everything synced together again so I could see that it has been listened to when I go back to my usual listening.
I also have an Apple Watch (version 9 I think) and when asking ChatGPT, it says that this can be used by downloading the podcasts to the watch and playing it through the watch, but I don't fully understand how this would work.
Are there any other swimmers out there that have found a way and can help me?
Thank you!

I have the same problem: Just bought the Skokz Open Water Pro and experienced that Bluetooth is “spotty” when swimming, at least crawling.
Did you solve your problem or found some workaround ? I find it very strange that Spotify lists can’t be exported. I also have an garmin watch that does Spotify and I can download lists to this watch to pair with headsets but the transfer from the watch to the headset are again Bluetooth so out of luck again there for my Shokz. Looks like it back to the 90s with Pirates Bay and what they were all called to get MP3s onto the computer. Except that now I use an iPad only which probably also gives some added problems trying to emulate 90’s technology.
i have just bought some swimming headphones that need to have music loaded on them to use them in the water. All of my music comes from spotify now so does that mean that there is no way to transfer the music?
Got the same issue
but finally solve it. I get spotify music via online tools and transfer it to my Shokz for playing.
It really really sucks that Spotify has sucked us all in but leaves us in a position not to be able to listen to music where we want it. I too am a swimmer and just want to put a playlist on my swim headphones. I've tried using bluetooth and it simply does not work in water, so I get a constant interruption of the songs being played. Guess it's time to switch to something that supports true downloads of at least a limited number of songs within the license. I'm sure it could be worked out.
