Local files on won't show up as grey on my iphone

Hello, I've been wrapping my brain on how to fix this issue. Recently, I've had some songs that I've been wanting to download onto my phone that I can also listen along to other streamed songs. As I have premium, I tried to take advantage of this but the local files that are supposed to be "greyed-out" don't even show up on my phone when I add the local file to a playlist, let alone it being greyed-out. How would I fix this? I made sure that my Windows Firewall was down, redownloaded the app, made sure that my phone was on the same WiFi network, used different playlists, and even changed details of the song itself. I know for a fact that I'm not breaking any DRM permissions. How would I fix this?
