Menu stuck at the top of the screen

My spotify premium doesn't resolve properly on my iPhone all of a sudden.  When I open spotify, the menu that used to appear along the bottom (home, search, my library) is now along the top of the screen and the rest of the screen is black.  When I click on a menu item, it highlights as though it is active but nothing happens.

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps. I'd also recommend checking for updates, latest iOS version is iOS 12.0.1 🙂

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

Thank you!  I had tried restarting my phone but that didn't work. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling spotify and now I have my music back. thank you!
