Mini player not updating (mobile)

The mini player on my Spotify is the old one that’s just grey when others have a better color version, also they updated the bottom bar to look better with the new mini player, but I still have the old one and the black bar so it looks worse! And it seems tied to my account because friend who have the new one I’ll sign in on their phone and it will have the old MiniPlayer for me.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome!

 

First up, make sure that there aren't any app updates pending. If you're running the latest version, try restarting the app twice in a row to force a resync.

 

If this doesn't help, could you send us some screenshots to have a better understanding of what you're referring to?

The one that is the color of the song cover is the way it should look and the grey one is how it used to be.

Thanks for the screenshot.

 

This new UI design is still being rolled out to all users. It might take some time for it to become available on your account.

 

We'd recommend enabling automatic updates for Spotify, this way you won't miss any new releases.
