Missing Friends Tab on IOS?

I've tried looking everywhere for help regarding friend activity on IOS, even existing pages saying friend activity isn't available for the mobile app. However, sometime last month, my Spotify app suddenly added a new section between search and library at the bottom, just labelled friends. In the tab, you were able to select a song of the week to display for your other friends while also showing friend activity like on the desktop app. Below the friend activity was a section of songs on repeat by your friends. Then there was also a section that showed you whenever playlists you followed were updated. At the bottom, you were also given suggested profiles and artists based on who you follow/listen to. I have seen this tab on my friend's iPhone before, so I'm sure I'm not making this up. The tab was there this morning for, but when I opened the app later in the evening, I watched it disappear and wanted to know why it was removed. Unfortunately, I don't have a screenshot in the tab itself, but I do have one that clearly shows it did exist on the bottom. Hope you can bring it back cuz it was a well-done feature.

I never had this tab but my friends activity isn't showing on desktop, so I am wondering if there is a bug all around it

This seems to be one of the changes we recently made. At Spotify, we're always testing new improvements and features to give our users a better experience. So you may see something your friend can't see, or you may have access to a completely new feature for a while.

There are plugin apps on the App Store that deliver this functionality. FriendActivity for Spotify, for example. https://SpotifyFriend.com
