My Question or Issue

This issue has been something I’ve wanted to write about for so long now. For the last year or so (I feel like when I first used Spotify on iOS in 2017 this wasn’t a problem, at least I don’t remember it being as prevalent then).

Spotify needs to make it so that when you’re arranging the order of the mobile queue it is seamless, slower and able to be done without “breaking” the app.

As it is now when I’m in the queue (click the play sign with the three lines in the lower left of the screen in the playing menu to get there if you don’t know what I’m talking about) and there’s a song I want to move up from far below what’s currently the order to be played in, I drag the song I want and it just “zooms” to the top - it’s not controllable. I know it’s touch-based but even trying to go slow the speed to move is much too fast and depending on how far up I drag the song (again sometimes it’s really far down the queue) it moves up way too fast and the app crashes - just goes black and leaves me on my phone’s home screen.

Wondering if anyone else knows what I’m talking about or shares a similar frustration when trying to move songs around the queue.
