New iPhone and previously playable playlists no longer work.

New iPhone and previously playable playlists no longer work.

Premium. iPhone SE 2020 running 14.5 / MacBook running 10.14.6

Problem: Upgraded to new iPhone and previously playable playlists no longer work.

-- On the iPhone: At the top of the playlist it says 203 hr 33m. The songs are listed, but only about 10% play. All are white. The ones that won't play have a musical note to the left. The few that will play have album art to the left.

-- On the MacBook: At the top of the same playlist it says 3044 Songs, 207 hr 19 m. 99% of the songs are white, but none of them have album art on the left.

--Tried logging out and back in on both devices, turning local files on and off

Hey @RD10004,

Thanks for searching for the answer you need here.

Just to make sure that we're on the same page - the issue with the MacBook came up only after getting the new phone, correct? In any case, we recommend you log out everywhere and run a clean reinstall on all your devices, this involves deleting the cache files of the app and will force an account wide resynchronization of your info. You can have a look at this guide for the steps relevant to each device.

It's also a good idea to reset your router or connect the devices to a different network altogether. and see if the same behavior comes up there as well. If it works with another connection, it's best to contact the service provider of the original network for more information.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted on how it goes.
