This is ridiculous. Every week or so it's another issue with the IOS app. First I wasn't able to sync my local files. Now with this new shuffle play feature, I can only listen to my local files on shuffle. Would Spotify rather I use itunes to listen to music. You guys need to get your stuff together over there. I would use the premium version of Spotify but the problem is they are missing most of the music I want to listen to.
i stand corrected, my cc expired. apologies to the spotify corp
Me too! 🙂
Why hasn't this been fixed yet? I am also unable to play local files in anything other than shuffle mode.
Thanks for replying and clarifying, but this makes the mobile app mostly useless for me. Why on earth can't I play my own music in the order I want? I understand that Spofity's licensing agreements dictate the shuffle mode for streamed tracks, but this doesn't make sense for music that I've bought and own.
I guess they want to encourage folk to take out a subscription to get all the great features. You can always stick to itunes for listening to the music you own.
i have spotify premium and have made playlists available offline that i would like to access on my new ipod shuffle. is this possible?!
