New spotify paint it black update issues

Ever since Spotify has updated to the new black layout, it crashes constantly, I doesn't how the correct song or information Half the time, is very laggy and has trouble skipping songs, before the update spotify worked fine. I have a iphone 4 with the latest iOS version, 7.2 I believe.

Sometimes iPhones like to have a soft reset. It could be some old cache hanging around. Can you do a soft reset? Just hold Home+Lock for 10 seconds.

I'm having the same issue - iPhone 5S, iOS 7.1, Spotify 1.0.

When I start playing music, the lock screen info/artwork doesn't change if the song playing is a local file on my computer synced over WiFi.

Album art for local files not showing is a bug in the new version. It should be fixed later on. There is no ETA for the fix at this time.

I have already reported this bug to the iOS developers.

Using desktop version, and also getting a ton of lag and skips that I wasn't before
