Offline sync has stopped

I'm trying to get songs onto my phone before I don't have service for a few month period. Before it synced up fine, even gave me a little status bar at the top. Now it won't sync at all. It's just sits there with the little grey arrrows doing nothing. I can't seem to figure out how to fix it. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried shutting it off and turning it back on?

No, I'm just pulling your leg. How many times have you tried syncing your music?

Well I'm not really sure how you make it sync. It would start when I opened spotify and started playing music. But it has stopped doing that. I've tried that for roughly the last 3-4 days.
