It started a few updates ago and it seems like it is getting worse with each update.

 

So I download albums to listen to in Offline mode. (The main reason I have the premium service)

 

In the FAQ's I see that it says to toggle Offline mode to remedy this problem and that does fix the problem but only temporarily. I have noticed that on some albums this has to be done for multiple songs.

 

What is the point in me dowloading this music over WIFI if I have to toggle the Offline mode and use data to download these pieces of the songs?!?!

 

This is very very frustrating. A year ago this was not an issue at all.

Welcome to the Spotify Community.

 

In this case, please follow these steps:

 

  1. Log in to your account page on our website and click Offline devices in the menu on the left.
  2. Click REMOVE ALL DEVICES.
  3. Reinstall the app with the steps here.
  4. Save your offline tracks again.

If that doesn't work, please remove the SD card, if there's one, reinstall the app, then reinsert the SD card again to see if it makes any difference.
