Play queue malfuntioning

Recently, spotify has been malfunctioning whenever i try to shuffle play playlists. I'll begin a playlist in shuffle mode and then after a few songs, the queue of songs will clear only leaving a couple of songs that will then repeat over and over. It usually happens whenever i pause a song for a while or it is interrupted by something else on my phone. The problem didn't start happening until i used my computer to add a few songs onto a playlist i had created on my phone. Any way to fix this?
