I’m really new to using Spotify and tried to look up how to figure out this issue but from the thread I read all the answers given didn’t work for me.
I’m using the app on my iOS device which I’ve found really sucks to be honest, as a free member trying to use Spotify on my phone a lot of the features on here are limiting and confusing and just generally seem to be broken for me??? But I can’t exactly carrying my desktop computer everywhere whenever I wanna use Spotify.
I’ve been trying to figure out a way to just listen to one song individually. Whenever I search for a specific song and go to listen to it Spotify automatically plays from a “shuffle with” playlist. Of which as in the name shuffled the single song I search for into a automatic generated shuffled play list. Since I can’t skip through more than 6 songs a hour as a free user I can’t just skip through the generated list to be able to listen to the one song. Nor can I just turn off the shuffle feature since I have a free account.
When I go to create a playlist with the single song I’m trying to listen to Spotify automatically makes a “we added” shuffle of songs. Which once again forces me to listen to a automatically generated list of songs that aren’t even in the playlist.
I just want to be able to search up the song I’m looking for and be able to listen to it to verify it’s the song I want. Sometimes the preview feature isn’t enough to let me know if the song I’ve found is the one I’m actually searching for.
I’ve included links of me using my app trying to listen to a singular song and Spotify automatically generating a playlist forcing me to not be able to listen to the song I want. As well as Spotify’s added songs to my single track playlist.
