Thanks a million!
That did it. I was about to go cray....998 songs in my main playlist.
Thanks so much the only explanation I could understand. Simple and concise. Better than Spotifys answer. Well done
Thanks for that!
To be specific - the Sort option is represented as three horizontal grey lines found to the right of the filter field at the very top of the list.
Can you tell me how I can play the songs in order of "least number of plays" first? I can either play in alphabetical order, shuffle, or artist/album. I have a big playlist but the shuffle order is almost the same and I never get to hear many of the songs on my playlist. Thank you for your help.
You da real MVP!
I have over 500 songs in one of my playlists. Sorting these manually is not feasible. I just want them newest on top on my iPad and iPhone apps, just they they are on the desktop version.
Unfortunately, the solution in this thread doesn't allow you to sort by Album Name.
I wonder why they don't allow a sort by Album Name. Even the help material says that's included. All I see is by Title, Artist, or Recently Added.
I understand that within a playlist on iOS, you can pull down the top part and select the horizontal bars to reorder the playlist. That's great.
What isn't great is that I have to do this over and over again to sort it by "recently added." It keeps defaulting to oldest first. I'm not sure how often it's going back to the default, but it seems like it's almost every time I open my phone (or go for a period of time w/o using spotify).
Is there a way to make my selected sorting option stick??
