In this case, could you try using your AirPods on a different iPhone device if possible to see if the issue persists?
If that doesn’t help, then I’d recommend making sure that the both your original iPhone device and the Spotify app are updated to the latest versions available.
Also, can you let me know your Spotify app version?

As for the other issue you mentioned, could you give us a few more details about it? How are you switching track? Also, what do you mean exactly by the song not loading?
