My Question or Issue

I just downloaded Spotify on my new iPhone x but the songs in my saved albums and playlists won’t show!! They appear only if i connect my device to my web (chrome) Spotify but disappear when not connected to any device it just says shuffle play ,although i tried reinstalling it but still, please help this isn’t ok.

Could you let us know if you're not able to tap the ''and more'' to see the list of songs as that is the issue that should be solved? 

 

On the free plan, on mobile, you only get the option to play songs on Shuffle for most playlists - on demand playback on your phone is a Premium feature.

 

You can check the differences between the features you get with Premium here.

 

We'll be on the lookout for your reply!

Mine isn't working either it's showing up in a sentence instead of a list.

Could you let us know which troubleshooting steps you've already tried? That way we can avoid repeating any steps.

 

On another note, sending us a screenshot of what you're seeing on your end would come in handy. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.

So yesterday I was able to see al my listed songs on my playlists and today I cannot!!!! Really frustrating as I have a premium acc. Fyi I've logout and login again with no diff. Sort it out please

To add to the above, adverts have started to play while listen to the music. I can see from the Forum that this issue of the adverts during music and list of songs in playlists keep appearing which is very disappointing.  Not sure I want to continue paying for Premium when SPOTIFY developers keep ignoring these issues.  Please sort it out.  All was ok until just few days ago and the issue with the lists on playlists only appeared today.  So the issue is not my account type but your program.  Thanks 

Getting really fed up ...when r your developers sort out the issue of Spotify not recognising Premium accounts? This issue of showing your lists like a free account with ads is getting old already.  I'm paying for a service that I'm not getting...!

One of the main features of the Premium subscription is the ability to listen to your favorite music Ad-free. By saying that you're still hearing ads, you got us thinking that you might be logged into another account that doesn’t have Premium. Can you please double check that?


In order to do that, go ahead and view your plan and payments on the account page, under Your plan. You should see Premium there. 


If you still are not seeing Premium on this account but you know you're a Premium member, can you try locating your other account with the steps here?
 

Regarding the issue with your playlist as @Eni mentioned, we'd like to visualize what you're referring to. Could you please provide the info that she requested in her reply?

Hello there,
Thanks for your reply. Note that I've never created/log but one account
since registering maybe 2, 3 years ago. I don't have any other accounts at
all. This started happening suddenly couple of weeks ago out of nowhere.
I'm almost logged in all the time as I was really happy with this app and
as I said, I've been using it ALL the time. So there's never been lots of
login in and outs...if anything, it's really rare for me to log out.
Again, I haven't created other accounts or changed anything until out of
the blue started getting ads first and few days later I was unable to see
my lists at all. If I select one of them, cannot chose what to listen but
your app starts playing randomly songs.
The issue should be easy to sort out by your Devs. From all posts I've
seen, it's localised to mobil phones, where your app suddenly cannot
recognise which acc is Premium. If I remember correctly doesn't matter op
system. In my PC and tablet got no issues. Therefore, cannot understand
why it has not been fixed yet! Pls also note that I have done all the
steps as recommended on other posts...log out and back in... removed and
re-download...etc...still no change. Enclosed screenshot of how my lists
look now. Getting really annoyed and will cancel my account if not sorted
soon. Thanks

We fully understand your frustration and we'll do our best to help you out. As a next step, can you please check your subscription status on your account page? If it says free, please check the email address associated with this account for any notifications from no-reply@spotify,com that might shed some light on why your account was downgraded.

Hello there

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately due to having to take care of a
family member I have not been looking at my emails regularly and I missed
the one where I was required to confirm and address. How can I rectify
this? Could you please send me a new link to confirm? Still no happy
about this. Not sure why should I need to verify that I have an account
with my brother and if i do at least give more time to respond as you don't
know the personal circumstances of the individual.

As I said, we paid for a Premium account and that's the service I want back.
