Saved albums disappear at restart

Saved albums disappear at restart

Hello,

I use an iPhone 5 with iOS 8.1 and Spotify 1.9.0.2744

When I save an album to My Music and start Spotify for the next time, the album isn't anymore in My Music. I also synced the album to offline mode, but it's still the same problem. Reinstalling the app also doesn't work.

Does anybody have an idea to solve the problem? Is there a limit for saving albums?

Hi there,
Welcome at the Spotify Community!

You may have up to 3,333 tracks saved for offline use. Could you please check if this is not the case for you?

As far as I know you may have lots of albums, so that is not the problem I think.

I'll notify our iOS Expert @Daniel @MattSuda for you.

Woeps, all those experts are confusing me LOL.

Well.. @MattSuda it's your call 😛

I counted:

630 playlists
0 songs of the playlists are saved for offline use

620 albums saved in My Music
12 of them are saved offline
That's 133 offline songs

Hmmm... not sure what the problem is

sorry =(

I tried something else:

I deleted an album from My Music and added another one. When I restart the app, the new added album is still in My Music. But when I add another album and restart the app, it disappeared.

So is there a limit for saving albums or songs in My Music? (Not offline)

Another problem:
I can still add albums at the desktop software, but I can't see them at the app.

"Your Music" is currently limited to 10,000 songs.

You said you have around 400 albums? That might be why if it all adds up to around 10,000 songs.

I have around 620 albums, so I think the 10.000 songs limit is the problem.

Is there any possibility to raise this limit?

Otherwise I have to clear My Music a little bit.

Thank you for your help!

Currently it is not possible to raise the limit.

Hopefully one day Spotify will increase this limit.
